Refund & Returns Policy
At Cabinetry Direct, we are committed to complying with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. This policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities in relation to returns, refunds, and exchanges.
Change of Mind
Please choose carefully, as we do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, at our discretion, we may offer an exchange or store credit provided that:
- The item is returned within 14 days of purchase;
- You provide proof of purchase (e.g. receipt, order confirmation);
- The item is unopened, unused, and in its original, resalable packaging.
Flat pack furniture that has been opened, partially assembled, or damaged during assembly cannot be returned due to change of mind.
Damaged or Faulty Products
If your product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under Australian Consumer Law. This applies if:
- The product has a major fault or is unsafe;
- The product does not match the description or sample;
- The product is not of acceptable quality or does not do what we said it would.
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product with:
- Â Your order number and proof of purchase;
- A clear description of the issue;
- Photographs showing the damage or fault.
Assembly & Installation
Please note that we are not responsible for damage caused during assembly or incorrect installation. Many flat pack products require careful handling and installation. If you believe a part is missing or incorrect, contact us before proceeding with assembly.
How to Return an Item
To request a return, please contact us at info@cabinetrydirect.com.au and we will advise you on the next steps. Do not return items without authorisation.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is deemed faulty or we made an error in dispatch.
